MARCXML import -- add subfield j to 852

Description

The MARC XML resource importer currently pulls 852 information in from subfields k, h, i, and m. (See marcxml_bib_base_map.rb). The importer should also pull in subfield j information, in this order:

k, h, i, j, m

This change is minor, but will improve the MARCXML importer.

Discussed in the Metadata Standards subgroup of TAC (minutes), and filed on that group’s behalf.

The subfield $j value is now importing on the ArchivesSpace test instance to the resource record Identifier field. Import documentation may need to be updated to clarify that MARCXML 852 values override other record identifiers when present (e.g., 090, 099).

This looks to be working as expected in the test instance. Once implemented this should be added to the MARCXML import data map (especially so that people know how their punctuation in their MARC should look).

Dev-Pri looked at this ticket during our June meeting, and we’ve passed it for development. Thanks, and Metadata Standards!

Adding a prompt on behalf of Metadata Standards that once this ticket is resolved (in whatever way it is resolved) that this behavior should be confirmed in the MARCXML to ArchivesSpace data mapping document and the ticket number removed from same. The responsibility for that action falls to TAC-MD, but since this ticket was submitted at the end of a term, this comment is meant to help ensure that follow-through.
