Brackets "[]" in searches in the PUI causing errors

Description

If you copy-and-paste a title of an archival object, for example "S. Willard library account [book], 1802-1803" in the search, the search returns an error "We're sorry, but something went wrong." If you remove the brackets "[]", the search returns the expected results.

I added the escaping of reserved characters in the query string so that the brackets are handled. However, it means that it will return results for a search that is and is not bracketed (or has one of the reserved characters in the string). For example, searching for book, [book] or "[book]" will return the same results.

Search function is not (or incorrectly) escaping the [ and ] characters.
