The most updated version of the SRS is available at https://docs.google.com/document/d/1vJm0EdL9ofKCrtCxWtFOO3FNcCuFkU_MC8qBl6KXq58/edit?usp=sharing that includes feedback from the SNAC Technical Group.
Reviewing the progress on this feature request, it is exciting to see how far the agent module has come. However, reviewing the submitted documentation it appears that there was a lack of guidance for the public user interface. Looking at the test server, there seem to be a few issues that might need to be addressed:
Duplication of dates in headings
Duplication of dates in existence dates
Placement/link-ability of places terms
Placement/link-ability of occupation terms
Visibility of gender terms
Rather than the current version above, I had expected that it would appear as something more like the modified version below:
Is there any documentation available on how this section of the PUI is being developed to accommodate the new fields?
- The public interface was still being designed at the time that the agents spec was delivered, so it was not included. For the PUI we're working off a very basic spec that I created. It's at https://docs.google.com/document/d/1b-__s-cVC54Z01dKzKyVQz_eRvRNJ2kZT7om5XcI9JQ/edit?usp=sharing. These changes should be reflected in the agents test site.
You can add comments/suggestions/testing related specifically to agents in the public interface to this JIRA: https://archivesspace.atlassian.net/browse/ANW-663
