The browser's back button should work as expected when a user attempts to navigate back to a Top Container search page. Right now, a search has to be re-performed every time.


  • If you go to this page,

  • do a search for "the" in the Resource field

  • select "The Herb Pomeroy Jazz Collection" and hit search

  • view the first result

  • hit Back

  • hey, where'd all those top containers from the Jazz collection go?

What is the duplicate ticket? This is still a problem and I'd love to see it addressed.

There are a few takes on this issue. This issue is linked to the broader to preserve its explanation but closed to indicate that it isn't a separate issue to be addressed. (linked from the comments of ) reflects a lot of the staff interface enhancement group's discussion about the issue and that section of the group's final recommendations. We're still anticipating many container issues being addressed through a project that a member institution has said it's willing to fund. The timing is still to be determined based on developer and project management availability.
