As an archivist, I would like typeaheads for accession, resources, and digital objects searches to include the identifier as well as the title

Reported by Noah Huffman during container management testing: "would be nice if results in typeahead included the resource or accession ID instead of the title only. This applies generally to all typeaheads, not just top container. We can have dozens of accessions with the same title for collections with frequent accruals and it's hard to distinguish them here."

This is also a problem for the typeahead when selecting a Resource record to Print to PDF. The typeahead results only show the Resource Title which is not enough to always distinguish one Resource form another.

I agree that this would be a useful feature!

This appears to be working correctly in the test environment for typeahead lookups in Resource records (i.e., Related Accessions), in Accession records (i.e., Related Resources), in Classification records (i.e., Record Links), in Assessment records (i.e., Basic Information), and in Top Container Management (i.e., Resource and Accession). It is also working in the Background Jobs area for Batch Find and Replace, Container Labels, and Generate PDF.

However, Digital Object instance searches as listed in the request above are not working. Record identifiers for Digital Objects are not included in the typeahead display, and are not searchable separately.

My experience mirrors Cory’s observations.
