When a unittitle or single-part note contains both <emph> tagging and an &, the EAD export does not escape the & correctly. Works ok if no <emph> tagging. See for related issue/more info
Using <emph> and & results in invalid EAD , due to
This occurs in the unittitle and in (some) notes
Scope notes appear OK (i.e. multipart vs singlepart note makes a difference)
Can confirm that this is still an issue on master. Also, within the notes fields in the staff interface, the ampersand "&" by itself shows up in red to denote an issue. Possibly to lightly enforce using the HTML entity name.
Please note that this is something that Trevor fixed for the EAD3 exports. Perhaps those changes could be incorporated into the base exporter for EAD in ASpace?
I'm attaching the EAD2002 and EAD3 files that I just exported from here, http://test.archivesspace.org/staff/resources/45, to illustrate the different results. EAD2002 = invalid, EAD3 = valid.
As this duplicates and that one is now fixed in master, closing this one up.
