The ArchivesSpace Goverance Board (http://www.archivesspace.org/board) is charged with providing oversight for the ArchivesSpace application and community, including fiscal oversight; approval of development priorities, and oversight of the Technical and User Advisory councils.  To meet the needs of a broad and diverse membership in a balanced and equitable way, the ArchivesSpace Governance Board is composed of eleven members:

Again, I am pleased to invite you to nominate candidates for the Governance Board representing ArchivesSpace members at the Very Large and Small membership levels.  Nominees must be staff of an ArchivesSpace member organization in either the VeryLarge or Small member levels (see the member lists at http://www.archivesspace.org/members). Nominees should also have  administrative and fiscal oversight experience, characteristics typical of a Director or Associate Director. 

Nominations must be received by May 22(date).  Each nomination should be supported by a statement by the candidate that briefly describes the nominee’s interest in and qualifications for serving on the ArchivesSpace Governance Board.  An election will be held soon after the slate of candidates is constructed.
