Program update

Christine Di Bella

  • Our new Community Engagement Coordinator Jessica started last Monday. She’s working on a number of things, including with a fifth annual forum. Narrowed down to August 2nd preliminarily. Call for participation soon.

  • Working on a release. Development for human-readable urls has taken longer to make sure it’s not impacting too much of the application. Next release should have a lot of small features and bug fixes. Hopefully have a release to start testing by tomorrow. Hoping to have the release by the end of April.

Sub-team listserv addresses

  • Patrick said that it would be helpful for Integrations

  • Alicia Detelich said tech docs might be interested in something like that

  • Christine Di Bella said it should be possible for the team to set up as many as needed, but please think about a private listserv, a public one, who can post to it, etc. She will send out more information to the entire TAC group.

  • Will have to give Christine Di Bella new email addresses for the next term.

  • Migrations also said that it’d be useful to their group.

Nominations requested for TAC

Deadline is April 19th.

Looking for three people who are rotating off.

You need to email Christine Di Bella in order to nominate someone. There’s a very short form to fill out.

You do not need to go through your member rep if you’re self-nominating.

Retrospective heads up/planning

  • Last year, for the last TAC call, we had a TAC retrospective, which required a little homework.

  • Between now and June, all subteams should have a retrospective with our teams. What went well? How could we improve? How did we meet our goals? Please add your docs to the confluence pages.

  • These can be as informal or as formal as you like.
