Newest development: Subteam presenting to UAC in March. Plan to present “Making the Case for ASpace membership”

Upcoming meetings

Proposal:

Reschedule November meeting to November 19th at 2 PM Eastern; Discuss “Making the Case . . . “ from Jessica; Discuss/assign jobs for December and start thinking about spring tasks, prepare ourselves for renewing member match etc.

Cancel December meeting in favor of working meetings/individual work on projects

Member Match event: “Show Us Your User Documentation”

Have all subteam members registered?

Format – Zoom meeting, one room. Very casual. Will not be recorded.

• Regina and Jessica will present ArchivesSpace User Manual

• Joanne Archer and Liz Caringola will present their User Doc from University of Maryland

• Open the floor for participants to present and ask questions

How much time for each section? 10-15 min ea.

Jessica will take notes and ask participants if they would like their resources to be referenced or linked for participants to access later. Notes will be available with the Member Match page on Confluence.

Role of subteam members:

• Spur conversation, interact with folks in the chat

• back-up/supplemental notes?

• Come prepared with a user doc or question, just in case

• Try to come a couple minutes early

Anything else?

Perhaps a basic end-of-year survey for Member Match participants; online forum event for next year (coffee break, easy-peasy, breakout rooms)

Thinking about survey: keep it simple, not too many data points, opportunity to ask for promotional statements “What you’ve liked about Member Match; what has been most valuable; least valuable; how likely are you to participate again; recommend to others; what would you like to see from the program in the future; is communication what you expected/would like” optional name/contact info if you’d like for us to reach out directly

Remind people at same time as survey, of what people are agreed to as matches
