Kickoff meeting: pilot to stand up database of archival authorities; work funded by Mellon grant; SNAC team, reps from 11 partners, and consultants

High interest in ArchivesSpace / SNAC integration - outcome of pilot is to do further brainstorming and work on a grant proposal for this

MOU with LYR:

Will host ASpace databases

Will provide training databases for workshops

Will save money and resources

- Features Prioritization & Testing - working on testing and testing protocol for the container management work as well

- Documentation - trying to get community started with video tutorials

We discussed the outline of different groups involved in the process (pasted from Brad's comment on the Separating Prioritization and Testing: Discussion notes page into top of the doc).

We then talked through the first several steps in the process.

Ran out of time to complete the discussion. Not all group members able to meet about this again in the near future - group accepted the proposal that Brad & Sally (& Chris?) spend some time fleshing out some additional details and others to review / feed back on the process doc(s).
