Accomplishments this Term:

Created documentation for on-boarding new members, including:
- Updating the Contributing section in the TechDocs README.md
- Working on https://archivesspace.atlassian.net/jira/software/projects/TD/boards/57?selectedIssue=TD-47.
Coordinated and met with the User Documentation sub-team and identified collaboration around configuration documentation for a future release.
Improving technical documentation:
- We enhanced documentation and made other improvements to the new Techdocs site.
  - Investigated and implemented a new changelog page on the technical documentation website: https://docs.archivesspace.org/release-notes/v400/
- We expanded and improved API documentation.
- We improved linkages, expanded descriptions, and reviewed/accepted community feedback to the awesome-archivesspace GitHub repository.
Outreach and engagement:
- We monitored listservs and other community forums to identify gaps in Techdocs.
- Presented at ArchivesSpace Virtual Member Forum 2026

Improve transparency and accuracy of Awesome ArchivesSpace
Investigate and plan for improvements to accessibility of technical documentation
Discuss centralizing work tasks to be completed across TechDocs spaces (TechDocs Jira board, GitHub repository, Awesome-ArchivesSpace GitHub repository)

Plan for and implement translation project the techdocs content in collaboration with the ArchivesSpace development team and ArchivesSpace community.
Work with ArchivesSpace developers to provide feedback for changelog for upcoming releases, based on the feedback and template generated for https://docs.archivesspace.org/release-notes/v400/.
Work with the User Documentation sub-team and ArchivesSpace development team in anticipation of configuration feature updates.
Continue investigating ways to encourage ArchivesSpace community contributions and commentary on techdocs and Awesome ArchivesSpace.
