  • Staffing - decision about staffing likely to occur after June 6
    • Chris F. has departed
    • Brian H. reduced time to 10 hrs / week
    • In the process of restoring development resources
      • Discussing contract with Hudson Molonglo
      • Written job description for use if necessary
  • Development:  
    • Container Management: Update - data for 70 institutions tested
    • Inclusion of Location enhancements funded by NYU
    • Harvard / Yale / HM / Lyrasis meeting re. Public UI development push

  •  Training and Consulting: 
    • University of Arizona, 3-day workshop, May 2-4
    • KLN webinars completed on May 6
      • 7 sessions and 1 wrap up
      • Carved up into 32 individual recordings and under review
    • Conferences / Presentations:

 Sub-team Reports  
 Development PrioritizationJulie PattonHave been holding extensive meetings to prioritize the tickets in JIRA; they have also been identifying tickets that will need additional specifications; and will be working on how to involve the community.

The documentation team worked to edit documentation for managing containers. It is now available in the online help.

Chad began work on additional screencasts, but ran into a problem with the trial version of Camtasia adding watermarks. He and Christine were working on a resolution for this.

  • As a result of testing the first release candidate for ArchivesSpace 1.5.0, the sub-team recommends removal of Jasper reports that no longer function properly.
  • The sub-team is currently making recommendations to make the Download CSV function available from browse screens in ArchivesSpace 1.5.0 more usable by streamlining existing and adding new data points.
 TestingMiloche KottmanThey did their last test in March and have been working on testing version 1.5; will start again when the programming needs are addressed; Brad indicated that there is some work that can be tested; Mark Custer is running the test of the public user interface and this effort is parallel to what the testing subteam is doing

Action Items:

  • Gordon will send out a poll to schedule the next meeting for mid July
