Program Update | Christine Di Bella | Released v2.7.0. Features include new language information recording and generation of ARKs (optional). Webinar planned for more in depth discussion of ARKs. Next release will most likely be in January 2020, but see more detailed roadmap. Integrations webinars going well and more planned for future. Regional forum in Columbia, SC November 15, 2019. Registration is open. 2nd annual online forum will most likely occur in March 2020, but more information forthcoming. | |

Development Prioritization | Lydia Tang | Dev. Pri. met twice since the joint UAC/TAC meeting. We completed surveying all Ready for Implementation tickets for funneling tickets to the Ready for Community Developer queue and addressed a total of 60 tickets. We've drafted up a survey that we hope to share with the community soon. Please feel free to let me/us know if you have any feedback! | |
Documentation | Kevin Clair Jasmine Jones | New sub-team members! Documentation met last week. Jessica provided a demo of the User Manual in Confluence. (It has not been currently released to users at this time.) Doc team discussed the 2019-2020 work plan for the coming year. Will be focusing on developing and standardizing timelines and processes for updates to user manual. | |
Usability | Lydia Tang | Usability team met once as a full team and has split into two subteams to evaluate tickets and create recommendations on the staff and public interfaces. If you are creating Jira tickets that relate to usability, please add the "usability" tag to the ticket! | |
Testing | Brittany Newberry | Have new sub-team members from both UAC and TAC. The Testing sub-team tested the new language feature for the recent release. Tested functionalities of ASpace for v2.7.0. Tested 16 Jira issues. | |

Vice chair duties include providing support for Council activities, liaising with and attending meetings of designated sub-teams, and acting as the Chair in meetings of the full Council in the absence of the Chair. The Vice chair is the designated successor the next time the Chair position is open, whether because the Chair’s term on the Council has expired, the Chair has resigned from the Council, or the Chair has decided to remain on the Council but resign from the Chair position. If a Vice Chair resigns or leaves the Council before the Chair position becomes available, the Chair will name a new Vice Chair. Please fill out the Doodle poll for our December meeting! | |
