The homework assignment:

Currently there are some custom reports templates in AS that each contain fields that can be chosen for inclusion in the report.  We liked the idea of having each template set up as a pre-defined report (so each one would have certain fields checked by default), but there would also be other fields available that they could choose to add to the report.  And then we could eventually cease having a separate set of defined reports.

  • Everyone should login to the AS development server at http://aspace-devstaff.lyrtech.org/ with the credentials admin, admin.
  • Go to the cog/wheel drop-down and select Custom Reports Templates. 
  • Clicking the Edit button for each one will allow you to see the fields currently included as options. 
  • For each template listed in this google doc, please fill out the fields you think should be the defaults and any fields you think should be removed as options.  This file is living in our ArchivesSpace UAC Reports Subteam google folder.
