Reorder mode loses selection depending on where you "place" it

Description

When you are trying to reorder items and drag them to a particular area, if you "drop" the selection on top of the destination's textured far-right area, it instantaneously loses your entire selection. It can be very disappointing if you're trying to do a lot of reordering. You should be able to drag and drop your selection to anywhere in the destination line. It would also be nice if the selected destination line could be bolded or outlined for accessibility.

Update 6/10: it looks like it is half-fixed so far. You still have to click specifically on the textured side area for the particular archival object (do we want that or not?), but now you can click and drag-and-drop it anywhere.

After discussing with Dev. Pri. - as the reporter of this ticket, I would like to be able to click anywhere on the Archival Object (just not the textured area) to select and move it to uts new location. By being able to click anywhere on the AO line, it removes the need to have the textured area, unless we want this as a feature to remind people that we are in the Reordering Mode. If so, the textured area needs to have stronger visual contrast. If not, it can be eliminated. Thanks!
