As a researcher I would like to be able to create finding aids/PDFs of sections of a catalogue

Description

We have some huge finding aids on ArchivesSpace (e.g. Cambridge University Archives https://archivesearch.lib.cam.ac.uk/repositories/2/resources/86) where PDF finding aids of the complete collection are huge and unmanageable.

On the PUI users would like to be able to download a finding aid for part of a collection from levels below the resource description. The finding aid would include the archival object record selected and all it's children/grandchildren.

Thank you for the update. The Dev/Pri team agreed that it would be best to close the ticket.

I'm replying on Natalie’s behalf as she’s moved to another role. The solution we’ve implemented is working well, so we’re happy for this issue to be closed.

The Development/Prioritization team is reviewing the status of this ticket in preparation for our next meeting.  Is the solution that Cambridge University Archives developed sufficient for addressing this need?

Just to report that we have implemented this (e.g. https://archivesearch.lib.cam.ac.uk/repositories/2/archival_objects/97319) - please contact archivesspace@lib.cam.ac.uk for further information.
