Edit Record Link in Digital Object Record

I just posted this issue, https://archivesspace.atlassian.net/browse/ANW-1293

I never realized that while you can view the linked record in the Digital Object record in view mode, you cannot see, nor edit a record link.
As a digital archivist, I want to be able to add/change Record Links from the Digital Object Record itself.

This was discussed at the Dev/Pri Meeting on March 7th.  The committee has decided to close the ticket at this time. Implementing this feature could take significant resources and lead to complications with other aspects of ArchivesSpace.

FYI-I also hosted a discussion group independently of ASpace, both and were aware. I then ran a discussion group during the last forum. I can help facilitate another group discussion and have some suggestions. Happy to discuss with you further.

Dev-Pri looked at this ticket during our February meeting and have decided that we need more information. In particular, we think there needs to be a larger discussion about how digital objects can or should be used. We’re considering putting together a discussion during the next user forum (after March 2022) to try to come to a consensus about where digital object development needs to go.
