Hi Matt, thanks for following up on my request. Ha, it’s been a while and I know I was submitting it on behalf of a prospective hosting client, which I wish I had mentioned… I think it was a wish for reference staff to basically use it for internal ready reference purposes and - sadly in this emerging day and age - for grouping collections that may have important but threatened/politically unfavored categories (thinking of current anti-DEIA political attacks…). As an archivist, I would like Classifications to have the option to be unpublished or suppressed from the Public Interface.
If I want to group collections for my internal purposes only, I don’t have a way of doing this because the Classifications are public by default and there isn’t a way to unpublish or suppress them. I would like there to be a check box, similar to Resources and other elements that have a “publish” box that can be checked or unchecked and the ability to suppress a Classification if needed.
