New projects for this term

  • Dev Pri will consider and plan outreach activities to support the Community in creating and using Jira Tickets (unless there is a backlog of tickets that require review which is the primary work of Dev Pri). These may include:

    • Presentation at the ArchivesSpace online member forum on the work of Dev Pri.

    • Update the ArchivesSpace wiki guidance on writing Jira tickets and specifications.

    • Q&A session where attendees would be encouraged to bring their questions and ideas for tickets they would like to write.

    • Reaching out to individual ticket creators where Dev Pri feels a ticket needs further information etc.

    • Solicit input from other subteams (in particular Usability and Metadata Standards) on relevant tickets.

    The subteam may
    • Use ArchivesSpace communication channels such as the email lists and Monthly Community updates to solicit feedback on Jira tickets and encourage new Jira tickets.

  • Progress “Awaiting More Information” Jira tickets by:

    • Contribute to “Awaiting More Information” tickets – members of Dev Pri to take these forward by providing necessary information or specification.

    • Revisit previously submitted tickets held in the “Awaiting More Information” status and contact the submitter to get the process moving forward.

Maintenance activities

  • Lead Matthew Neely and Vice-lead Matt Strauss to ensure leader guidance and Dev Pri subteam guidance is up to date ahead of 2024-2025 term and Lead handover.
