 2) Program updates (Brad and Chris)

  • Release cycle every 4 weeks, push out updates quarterly
  •  Plugins – maintenance plugin can push minor fixes so people don’t have to wait until the next release to get the fix
  •   Release development plan will be delivered to the two councils on Friday. Stories will be grouped together, about 400 individual stories.
  •   Board meeting on Wed. Will address operations report, look at the development plan + process for prioritizing, Conflict of Interest Statement, presentation + hopeful resolutions of CLAs, ask for approval of half-day ArchivesSpace member meeting at end of SAA in Cleveland.

 3) Subgroup Updates:

    • Documentation (Kari)

    • Architecture (Don) - Will be working with Chris to move forward. Asked to consider working with Stanford on ArcLight. Also more formal with Archivematica.

    • Migration (Micheal) - big push in import/export back in Sept. Will be circling back and doing more testing. Will be getting on a call w/Brad + Chris to see where it makes sense to move on to, possibly EAC-CPF. Confluence has been updated. Checking on documentation for Accession csv – will take a look and then turn it over to the documentation committee.

    • Committers Oversight (Esme) - waiting on CLA approval, code review, did Yale testing, had some discussion for participating on Code4lib, waiting on resolution on CLAs. No official report on code review. Esme – will talk about that with the group next time.

 5) Code4lib participation/attendance

attendance: Brad, Mike, Fitz, Micheal, Don, Scott, Esme, Sibyl

Would need some sort of outcomes. Esme + Fitz will help develop. Esme will email Brad and Fitz the places that he’s seen. Ability to host a reception – that’s a good opportunity. Will have another conversation about this. Brad will pull together a meeting.

Hydra hackfest sign-up – chance for cross-pollination? Targeted joint thing?

 Code4Arc preconference
