Welcome and hello!

Updates/check-in

  • User Manual Review check-in

  • New Spawning pages

  • Publish/don’t publish list check-in Spreadsheet link

  • Jessica to send email with details, but updates to spawing pages and new documentation is needed. Margaret with get it started and then reach out to the team for assistance with writing and/or reviewing.

  • Everyone is working on Managing User Accounts and User Permission pages, let’s plan to have those wrapped up by our March meeting.

  • Keep the Publish/Don’t Publish list on your to do lists. It is a good thing to do when you have a spare 10 minutes. It is easy to check a few fields. It would be nice to have it finished by the end of this term, but not imparative.

Request from Rachel Searcy of Tech Docs

We had floated the prospect of possibly putting something together for either a webinar or the next online forum using the different sources of documentation to point out things people may not be aware of. We talked about this a bit in our most recent meeting and Liz also thought of another way to frame the conversation: in hindsight, [x from the documentation] would have helped me do [y].

Is this something anyone from User Docs might want to be a part of? If we do move forward with this idea, Liz would be taking the lead from our end of things. The submission form is open until March 24, so we have a little bit of time to decide, but I wanted to revive that from our meeting. No pressure though.

Margaret will send an email to our group and Liz to see what the session would look like and who is available to help. Per Jessica, the session would likely be 45 minutes on 4/5.

Side note: this could be a good opportunity to highlight what User Docs does and perhaps entice people to consider putting in a nomination to join UAC.
