Beginning in Spring of 2021, the ArchivesSpace Trainers Corps will offer regularly scheduled virtual, community-wide training opportunities open to anyone using or interested in using ArchivesSpace.

Over the next year, the Trainers Corps will offer the scheduled trainings and office hours described below. Registration for each training will be separate and registration will open closer to each training date. Trainings and office hours with open registration are indicated below.

Complete the pre-workshop and post-workshop surveys developed by the trainers.
Confirm in advance of your training that Zoom connection information and all resource links work as expected on the computer or laptop you will be using for the workshop. The use of tablets and cell phones during this workshop is discouraged. We cannot provide technical assistance to individuals using tablets or cell phones during these workshops.
Attend all live sessions.
Actively participate in live sessions, including unmuting and asking questions or interacting via the Zoom chat feature.
Complete all “homework” (if applicable) in advance of each live session, including reviewing video recordings and completing exercises.

Virtual “Office Hours”
The Virtual “Office Hours” offered over the next 12 months will offer users the opportunity to see a quick demo or walkthrough of one area of the application by members of the ArchivesSpace Trainers Corps. Afterwards, the trainers will take questions related to the demo as well as questions solicited via the feedback forms linked below and, as These office hours will not be recorded but notes will be provided after the discussion. Following the brief presentation, you will have the opportunity to ask questions about the topic. Once those run out we will answer questions submitted via the submission form and if time allows, questions submitted on the fly.
