Our nomination process has been an extended one, as we received more nominations for the (Technical / User) Advisory Council than we have vacancies available to fill.
I regret to report that following our extended discussions, the Governance Board has offered appointments to other nominees. A number of criteria were factored into the decision, including institutional and geographic diversity with respect to the composition of the board as a whole. The new members of the (Technical / User) Advisory Council will be announced soon the ArchivesSpace mailing lists.
