Workplan Updates:
Many sub-teams have reached a point of “term regularization” with regard to responsibilities and activities.
Community engagement through outreach on listservs, surveys, potential presentations at member forums continues to be priority for many sub-teams
Use of Jira tags as a method of information communication is common; ensure that leadership transition documentation includes training and ownership of this space for each sub-team’s use case.
Consider converting your sub-team’s workplan to the Workplan Template if you did not use it this year to ensure continuity across sub-teams on both Councils.
Held Member Match Mixer #1 - “Tips & Tricks” (10/16) - 8 cohort members attended; good discussion focused on clean-up tips/tools (API, OpenRefine, plug-ins, etc.)
Hosted monthly First Friday “Take a Break with ArchivesSpace” (11/1)
Worked on Charge revision draft; hoping to complete at next meeting (11/20)
Planning begun for Member Match Mixer #2 (12/18); looking for a sub-team to collaborate with!
Upcoming: Review draft & send out half-year survey to Member Match cohort
Held Regression Testing Debrief session to discuss what worked well, what needs improvement, what questions people had. Will use this information to improve the testing process.
December meeting is cancelled for most UAC members. If you are a sub-team lead, we will hold a 30 minute check-in meeting on Tuesday, December 17th at 4pm ET. Calendar invite is updated to reflect this information (hopefully!)
