Election of Board of Trustees


ArchivesSpace is very happy to offer to Charter Members the slate (below) of well-qualified candidates for election to the ArchivesSpace Board of Trustees. 


The Board of Trustees is responsible for administrative and fiscal oversight of ArchivesSpace.  It appoints members to the User Advisory Council and the Technical Advisory Council.  It directs the development of the ArchivesSpace application and organization on the basis of input from the advisory councils and the ArchivesSpace membership. 


The slate comprises  ten candidates, two per membership level.  A statement from each candidate is included  in the attached PDF, sequenced as the ballot below. 


Note that some of the seats are for one year and will conclude on June 30, 2014, and that others are for two years and will conclude on June 30, 2015.  The different term lengths will ensure a measure of continuity as occupants for the Board of Trustees seats change.  All successful candidates from the 2013 election will be eligible to run for one subsequent two-year term.
