The Usability subteam was founded in fall 2019. As a relatively new subteam, workflows are flexible and can always be improved.

The Usability Subteam leader’s role is to:

  1. Convene the Usability Subteam by scheduling the zoom calls and facilitating the meeting

    1. Note: How to schedule zoom meetings

    2. The subteam usually meets every other week, which seemed to be the easiest way to keep the projects on track. The meetings would usually not take up an entire hour but have time to recap work accomplished an troubleshoot issues.

  2. The work of the Usability subteam usually falls into two approaches:

    1. Fielding tickets with the Usability_subteam label in the swimlanes for Feature Requests or Bug Reports, or

    2. Deep-diving holistically into a complex usability issue. The subteam might decide to do this particularly if there are multiple, possibly contradictory tickets relating to an issue
