Is doing the separate PUI/SUI mid-month meeting working out ok or should we meet twice per month as a group?

Helpful to meet as a smaller group to plan ahead for meeting with larger group.

  • 886 - Not sure how easy this could be to make this happen; Specifications probably needed on how to control/implement on staff side. PUI team likes this though! Should find solution for red D.O. box. Althea Topekto comment on ticket, Lydia Tang (Unlicensed) to send to DevPri so that it can be reviewed.

  • 769 - Would be great from a user perspective to follow the F design. Rename ticket to be more specific on what we’re asking for – “Collection organization sidebar to left for usability.” Lydia Tang (Unlicensed) will comment on ticket that team feels that it should be moved forward.

  • 477 - Be able to sort components alphabetically. Lydia Tang (Unlicensed) will comment that it could be useful for both SUI and PUI, and DevPri will decide if it should move forward.

  • 682 - Would be helpful to keep Search Collections bar across all views of PUI for a resource. Not sure how difficult this would be for coding. Brittany Newberry (Unlicensed) will comment that it could be useful, and DevPri can decide about moving it forward.

  • 953 - still happening in sandbox. Recommend pushing forward, since changing look/format of staff login was originally part of SIEWG suggestions. Terra Gullings (Unlicensed) to comment on ticket.

  • 443 - Development already started on this ticket.

  • 919 - Freeze column labels/add additional scroll bar to scroll up and down rows. Lori Dedeyan (Unlicensed) made mockup and will comment to get it to move along.

  • 214 - Distinguish unpublished components in hierarchy; awaiting feedback from DevPri on how to proceed. Some mockups already created. Share with Users List to give options, get feedback. Flag ticket to be part of first email to list for January.

Action items

-Lydia would like some assistance from a co-chair; please let her know if you are able to volunteer for this task!

-If SUI/PUI teams come across JIRA tickets that have actually been resolved, please mark as such so they can be closed. [Note: If tickets are already marked “Development Started,” then DevPri is aware of issue and working on it!]

-Share tickets with Users List in January to get feedback and create voting mechanism (quarterly Users List survey?). Include for sure: ANW-214 [distinguish unpublished components], ANW-769 [design for F/Collection organization sidebar to left for usability].

-Lydia will be in touch with previous DevPri survey results when they’re completed (after Nov. 20) to see if that impacts our moving ahead.

-For next meeting of SUI subteam – see Final Reports Sub-team recommendation reports (2019): Final Reports Sub-team recommendation report 2019-08 And see if anything comes to mind [reports as a way to fundamentally extract data].

-For next meeting of PUI subteam - plan 4 Jira tickets to discuss.
