It’s okay if you don’t have an update for the first meeting of term. Use this time to ask any start-of-term questions you may have, and if you have neither updates nor questions, that’s cool! But you will have to say something in September

• Development Prioritization:

  • Met twice since the beginning of the term

  • Welcomed New Members: Keli Schmid (UAC) and Matthew Strauss (TAC)

  • Had a retrospective during our first meeting

  • Reviewed 18 tickets: Approved 11 (1 for community developer), closed 4, awaiting more information 3

• Integrations: We have met this term once so far but are already on the move. We have sent out a notice about the up coming survey which will open August 24th, the same day as the ASpace Forum in Boston. We will be meeting once before that to do a final review of the survey and prep for its release. The survey will be open until the end of November.

• Metadata Standards: No updates

• Technical Documentation: No updates

• Testing: No updates

• Subteam Discussion sessions. You may choose from these topics:

  • Something relevant to your subteam’s workplan, like workshopping an idea, getting feedback on a decision

  • Suggestions for TAC documentation/training

  • Simply to tell us what your subteam does! Walk us through a recent agenda, talk about a recent decision, peel back the curtain on your subteam!

• I will attempt to set repeating meeting times to reduce Doodles

  • The October Doodle poll will stand in for the entire term

  • We’re trying to get to a point where we can identify a pattern, like “second Tuesday of the month”

• We will hold our first Joint TAC/UAC Meeting in September. Please fill out this Doodle poll for your availability by August 19th.
