2021-2022 Usability Team Workplan

The charge of the Usability subteam is to develop functional and practical recommendations to the program that streamline navigation, clarify the visual layout, identify accessibility improvements, and enhance the ease of use of the existing program for both the staff and public interface of the ArchivesSpace software application. 

Method

  • The team meets monthly on the third Tuesday of the month for one hour.

  • Team lead pulls tickets into the Usability swimlane via the usability_subteam tag for review and input.

  • Vice-lead Althea Topek serves as liaison between the Usability and Development Prioritization subteams. Tickets will be occasionally routed to Usability from DevPri via the liaison
