User Documentation Sub-team 2020-2021 Retrospective

Accomplishments:

  • Created new documentation for Agents to reflect large-scale changes to agent records in version 3.0

  • Began a systematic review of help center pages, reviewing and updating all documentation in the Accessioning and ArchivesSpace Basics sections of the Help Center

  • Finalized style guide for Help Center pages

  • Finalized procedural guidelines for updating Help Center pages

  • Began discussions on how to manage work relating to the systematic review of the Help Center pages

  • Began discussions on how to record ideas for future projects

Priorities for next term:

  • Create and update documentation in response to new version releases or user feedback

  • Continue systematic review of Help Center pages, updating pages as needed

  • Develop system for managing systematic review work

  • Develop system for recording ideas for future projects
