Early term activities are trucking along. UAC had a good first meeting; TAC will have theirs at the end of the month.
Joint meeting is scheduled for September 11. Agenda is in good shape - will be mostly workplans and Code of Council presentation.
Some upcoming topics for Council meetings include talking about ArchivesSpace leadership/service, EAD4, and picking up on Thimios' work on behavior scenarios and writing tickets.

Continued discussion of goals for this group this term

We reviewed the goals we discussed at our July meeting and continue to feel good about them. Sustainability and continuity will be important themes of our work.
Councils do have latitude to determine the frequency of their meetings. In the past sometimes Councils have met bimonthly later in the term.
We discussed the possibility of standards-related discussions or activities. We’ll continue to think about whether there is a place for that in the Councils or more broadly as larger ArchivesSpace events.
