Where should this link go? To the other subject record?
An AS version would not be identical so there would need to be a plan for what information this report would actually produce. I think this would be redundant with custom reports.
Pass
Should go to the duplicate record, pass
Close, can open a new ticket once the new custom reports module goes live
don’t think it’s a problem with ArchivesSpace-- wrote comment in ticket to reporter to see if it might be a problem with the link they provided vs what I saw in their AS and Preservica systems.
pass as long as people agree it is supposed to be included – confirmed report regarding 3/4 ead / ead3 / staff pdf does not include the label (it includes the content). I did notice however the pui did print out the label and it was included in the table of contents. also not sure how it is suppose to display but what happened was the label replaced the type in this case physical location. tested in v3.0.2
pass, confirmed that digital_object_uri is in solr – and then deleted the digital object of a resource-- and it did not kick off a reindex of the resource such that the resource had stale data in solr as it should have deleted that data from the index
Using reorder mode in the linked example, I am able to select the series without issue, but cutting and pasting causes the the pasted item to jump to the top level and sometimes disables further reordering until I reload the page. Pass.
I’m not sure about this. I’m concerned that implementing this would lead to inadvertent data loss, since exporting in the format of the Harvard spreadsheet would not necessarily export all data due to the limitations of the spreadsheet. Deleting and then re-importing as a means of editing also doesn’t seem ideal. Close as workflow specific and suggest a plugin?
User wants the find in manage top containers in resources to not require so far to drop down to select right resource. I tried in my own collection to find WHC--M--464 by entering "464" and sure enough it was listed 4th. I'm not sure if it's possible to make a drop down selection sort by relevance though. the work around is to enter the resource by the first characters in the resource name instead of keyword. In my example it came back with only 2 results. Maybe the user should use the keyword search instead? Merits discussion before passing.
ZoomText is not a free product so I can't really do anything with this one.
This request is straight forward. Duplicated on test server, the second file version replaced the URI in the PUI. both versions should display but aren't. Pass.
This wants better thumbnail treatment for digital objects. It has a specification, which is nice and seems pretty complete, and there are lots of requests for it, so pass?
This would allow file versions to be clickable if wrapped in <a> tags. This seems simple and helps ASpace to talk to other applications, so I recommend passing this on for development.
I agree that adding extents to the browse/search for collections would be helpful, recommend passing this for development.
Keep on for next month, probably pass
Close, this is a Preservica problem
Awaiting more info, how to deal with multiple extents, container summary?
