Program Update
@Christine Di Bella
Christine provides a brief program update each meeting and calls out items that may be of interest to members.
A release candidate should be announced by the end of the week. New features/improvements include spawning individual archival objects out of accessions, and the ability for logged in user to change their own password. Christine encouraged testing of the release candidate. Assuming testing goes, a regular release will be announced.
Member Forum activities will take place next week and virtual workshops will take place the week after. The in-person even and virtual workshops will be recorded. Virtual workshops are full at this point.

Discussion: Theme for this year-- “collaboration and continuity”
Topics:
Recap new term transition
Sub-team leadership group
How can Council Leadership support sub-team work?
Ideas or areas for cross-team/council collaboration or community engagement
@Regina Carra
Transition began in June as new members were assigned to subteams and introduced to subteam leads.
Comments: It was good for new members to have information about their subteams before orientation. It was helpful from the subteam lead perspective that new members had access to the Google Drive before the first subteam meeting. It was also helpful to get meetings scheduled early in the term including scheduling orientation in July.
Ideas or areas for cross-team/council collaboration or community engagement. Even very broad ideas are encouraged.
Member Engagement quarterly events could be opportunity to meet people from different subteams
Suggestion for more structure – Maybe going to other subteam meetings?
Subteam Leadership Group – This is a group recently instituted by TAC. Subteam leads and vice leads meet with the TAC chair at major milestones throughout the year such as the beginning of the term and early in the Spring as transition planning begins. Topics discussed so far include upcoming deadlines transitions, and any issues that have come up. Should UAC institute a similar group?
Comments: May make it easier for collaboration. May be able to brainstorm ideas in a smaller group like this. Several members stated that they support this.
Regina will plan to schedule a meeting in the next few weeks
