Update on new HM agreement

James Bullen, Laurie Arp

• Hudson Molonglo (HM) will be members of the Technical Advisory Council; expectation is that there will be some back and forth between HM and the Development Prioritization team

• Jason asked how the prioritization work of the Development Prioritization team over the summer will influence the work of HM

• Discussion about how to integrate new priorities

• ArchivesSpace is still looking for a technical lead; recently announced that they will be looking for a Program Manager as well

• HM is going to start on pull requests and bug fixes immediately with the hope of a minor release by the end of the year

Survey results discussion

• Jason is going to distill the narrative portion (open-ended questions) of the survey results into categories

• The highlights of the survey results will be shared with the ArchivesSpace member community

Yale request for review of AR-1570, AR-1571, AR-1572

• Group members agreed that these should be done and added to the core code; it was suggested that the searches be expanded to identify all empty fields

Yale request engaging HM for resolving AR-1559

• Group members agreed that this should be done and added to the core code; this should be included in a release before the end of the calendar year

• Need to upgrade RAILS before merging the public frontend and the staff administrative backend.

• Mark Custer asked about reports and where we are at with them; Gordon indicated that the reports subteam is working on specifications for them; HM doesn't think that they'll be able to tackle them prior to June 30, 2017

• A group from the Technical Advisory Council are working on a proposal for the reorganization of the ArchivesSpace GitHub site–will include an ArchivesSpace Labs area

• Had a discussion about setting up a process for how decisions on additions to the code are made; decided to wait for the Technical Lead to be hired
