Welcome

•  Welcomed Susannah Broyles to the Usability Subteam and provided update on current projects

Restriction fields review

• Review comments received from previous month (https://docs.google.com/document/d/1YRECmrgiTR4xnUGzy-QfyeldXde7Z6KGgMzWA__FNaA/edit?usp=sharing )

• Considered options for streamlining the recording of restrictions in Resource records, such as:

  • Co-location of Restrictions Apply? checkbox with the restriction notes

  • Pop-up warnings on saving if a note is recorded without checking the Restrictions Apply? box

  • Conditional validation of record on saving, with a restriction note entry required when the Restrictions Apply? checkbox is marked

• Subteam members will develop a draft specification during coming month for last option

Multilingual description review

• Review comments on from ANW-957 and Google Doc (https://docs.google.com/document/d/1zw7hcSO07asrk6x7u353UnjPm4zoI6Xl2Vj1BkW6WzE/edit?usp=sharing )

  • Discussed the issue of multilingual description based on compiled resources

  • Reported use cases focused primarily on the title and notes fields

  • Jessica Crouch will be attending our October meeting to discuss feedback received by the project team

  • Everyone encouraged to review shared document and add resources
