Multilingual description review

• Reviewed comments on from ANW-957 and Google Doc (https://docs.google.com/document/d/1zw7hcSO07asrk6x7u353UnjPm4zoI6Xl2Vj1BkW6WzE/edit?usp=sharing)

  • Tickets express interest in multilingual support for titles and notes

  • Based on review, a clear specification is needed to direct how features should be implement

  • Stakeholders have been identified, but would like wider feedback from the community about features and associated use cases

  • Jessica offered to include multilingual support in the Spring members meeting to continue this discussion

  • Determined to create survey for distribution in November, then work to organize volunteers in December with goal of producing use cases for March community meeting

  • A draft survey instrument was created and distributed to the group, with a request that comments be submitted by October 20th

  • Based on review, determined that a full specification was unneeded but instead a feature request might be submitted

  • With subteam feedback a ticket was submitted following the meeting (ANW-1832)

• During coming month, subteam will continue to brainstorm other restriction-based issues in the staff and public interface
