Food options close to the Smith Memorial Student Union at Portland State University

Courtesy of Cris Paschild, SAA Host Committee Member and University Archivist and Head of Special Collections at Portland State University (thanks, Cris!), here's some information on food options for lunch. There will be plenty of space to eat outside as well as designated space to eat in the Student Union.

Additional Food Carts

There are also a number of food carts at SW 4th and College with lots of variety.  It's a very walkable distance.  Just keep in mind that most places cook to order so wait time can run long during peak hours and there's no dedicated seating.

Closest coffee if the coffee bar in the basement of Smith Center is closed
(we will be providing basic coffee/tea/water service throughout the day at the Forum, but when you need something more)

Starbucks

1717 SW Park Ave

A block and half from the library
