  • Good discussion of DAMS/ASpace integrations!

    • Mary did a great job of hosting/wrangling!

  • Jaime mentioned Slack is coming

    • Some concerns about IT support, but we’ll treat it like a pilot and re-assess if too many issues come up

Review joint TAC/UAC mtg. (9/11)

  • Code of Conduct Task Force discussion

    • Christine will reach out to Mary about joining

    • Nothing to update since joint meeting

    • Feedback due soon (9/27)

  • Partner for upcoming Mixer?

    • User Docs worked very well two years ago

    • Dev Pri was successful last year

    • Testing could also be good

    • Wait to contact for now, due to all teams being busy with regression testing

  • Updates to charge

    • Jaime will send draft to review before next meeting (November)

Prep for Slack rollout

  • Any specific rules/guidelines

  • Will web version work well-enough for those in strict IT environments? (discussed at FF)

  • Draft of intro message before invitations sent by Jessica

  • No reason to doubt that Slack will work on Web (no downloads/installs necessary)

  • Jessica shared ASpace Slack mission statement

    • Active work/teambuilding

  • Invite will look spammy & come directly from Slack, so intro message from us is important

  • If Slack doesn't work out, we need to have demonstrated interest before trying another tool. Otherwise, we just use the listserv for discussion again

Finalize Discussion Topics document

  • Post in confluence?

  • Can continue to add ideas after posting

  • Jaime will post in Confluence for documentation & email MM cohort

Finalize Mixer 1 (October)

  • Date: October 16th 9:30/12:30 pm (instead of monthly meeting)
