Needs to discuss w/ UAC

  • Would we like to try to replace Mary for rest of term?

  • Jaime is willing to serve as Chair again next year in absence of Vice Lead; need to confirm if even OK

  • Related: Does Mary need to transfer Confluence doc ownership? Re-do standing meeting Zoom?

  • Finalize Charge revision to submit

  • Would be happy to take on another member, but ok if not possible.

  • Confluence docs are all “owned” by ArchivesSpace, so no need to transfer those; do need to check up on Google doc ownership

Review first First Friday (1/10)

  • Christine hosted-2 match attendees + Christine and Jessica

  • Topics included ASpace Virtual Forum & recent locations questions from listserve

  • Discussed possibly skipping January meeting next year; bigger issue was probably irregular date than month. may consider skipping instead of rescheduling in future

Review MM Mixer #2 (12/18) - ASpace 2025 Resolutions

  • 5 attendees, plus Jaime, Christine, Kolbe, Jessica

  • Topic was a good prompt, so may use again next year

Plan MM Mixer #3

  • Date: March 19th 9:30/12:30 pm (instead of monthly meeting)

  • Topic: Presentation/discussion with other sub-team?

  • Heard back from Diane Biunno of Metadata Standards, who would be able to make the March date along with Vice Lead, Frank Foss.

  • Jaime will follow up to confirm details & get announcement done early

  • Community Zoom Account Guidelines

Presentation on ME work at UAC meeting (1/21)

  • Jaime will send draft ASAP

  • Topics to include:

    • Charge revision

    • MM activities

      • Matching process

      • Take a Break – FF

      • Mixers

      • Evaluation process

Prep for Slack rollout

  • Include in half-year summary message (draft imminent)

    • Also to check if any members have not been able to have the desired level of communication with their match(es)

  • Draft of intro message before invitations sent by Jessica

    • Invite will look spammy & come directly from Slack, so intro message from us is important

Open Discussion

  • Confirmed that posts to MM listserve do go to all of ME members as well, but still helpful to CC ME members

  • Come to the UAC meeting on 1/21!

  • Next sub-team meeting: February 19, 2025

    • Will have publicity for 2025-2026 cohort ready for review
