Old business:

• Division between Creating and Managing Resource Records, Creating a Minimal Resource Record, and Adding Additional Information to a Resource Record

  • No merge function, we don’t have delete permissions.

• .yml instructions in manual, found in https://archivesspace.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/ArchivesSpaceUserManual/pages/895812108 and . The instructions verge into tech doc territory, but are more fleshed out than this page .

  • Need to indicate need sys admin permission, direct to tech doc

User Doc presentation at UAC meeting

We will be presenting at the UAC meeting on December 21

• Tour of administration pages (workflow, style guide, google sheet, future projects)

  • Focus on Accessibility (including alt-text)

• Show new work (Custom Report pages, other?)

• Questions for group:

  • Accessibility issues we should address?

  • Suggestions for accessibility guidelines?

  • Suggestions for orienting new members and managing pages for future iterations of group?

  • Should there be time bound goals for ongoing work?

New questions:

• What is line between tech docs & user docs (use .yml file as example)

• Opinion on moving duplicate pages into single page pointed to from section (ex. user defined pages in Accession, Resource, and DO sections)

New version check-in

Is the documentation up to date?

• spreadsheets updated, but doesn’t look like csv version, just xlsx; old templates no longer in GitHub, do new publish values work with older versions? Documentation seems a little out of sync when applied to DO linking spreadsheet (only 2 publish values mentioned in doc, there are 3 in spreadsheet)

Outcomes:

• Johanna will create separate documentation for the linking DO workflow/template ingest

• Johanna check documentation against AO spreadsheet

• Johanna will double check if csv and xlsx out of sync and will report if they don’t match
