Architectural Overview

The new PUI is in the process of being updated to use Rails 5, with the anticipation that the staff interface will also be updated to Rails 5 before the official release of the new PUI.  The PUI will use the same CSS Framework as the staff interface, which is currently Bootstrap 3, and it will also make extensive use of the Solr index to speed up the application.  For the time being, the developing code base is located in a new Github repository: https://github.com/archivesspace/public-new
