Participants
@Joshua Shaw - note taker
@Valerie Addonizio
@James Griffin (Unlicensed)
Goals
brainstorm our next steps
start figuring out responsibilities/parcel out who gets to tackle which integration
review status of current integrations listed
investigate/solicit information on integrations not listed
setting our meeting schedule
figuring out how we want to document our process
Notes & Tasks
Decided to meet monthly (with option for more frequent meetings as needed). Next meeting is 2/5 @ 10-11 EST
Will use Slack for general communication and tracking
Layout Notes
Preliminary discussion of layout/presentation. Will keep categories of integrations, but will switch to a list style layout rather than table form.
Will add additional links to demos, contacts, etc to descriptions (recent webinars might be a good place to start, can link to AS blog posts, include links to recorded versions)
Will add support statement - ie what version(s) of ArchivesSpace does the integration support or intend to support.
Will add a last updated statement.
Will remove tier status.
Tasks
We will contact the owners/developers of current integrations to get more current information on the status of the integration.
Joshua: Circa, Preservica, Archivematica
Valerie: EADChecker, Preprocessor, CAIT
James: Drupal, StaticAid, CollectionSpace
Joshua will draft an email to currently listed integrations owners/developers soliciting updated information. Joshua will share draft with Valerie and James prior to sending. Email will ask for current status, planned development, ArchivesSpace version support, comments on description, etc.
Valerie will draft email to various companies asking if they have or plan to have an integration with ArchivesSpace.
Joshua will email Christine & Dallas to ask if the listserv is appropriate venue for soliciting responses for any integrations not currently listed on the integrations page or on the ArchivesSpace blog
Joshua will develop a set of questions for a survey asking AS users if they currently use any integrations and if they’d be willing to be contacted about it.
We’ll all trawl through the blog looking for additional integrations (eg Aviary)
