Description

The Resources List Report includes basic information, dates, and extents for resource records.

Purpose

This report is intended to support general collection analysis. It is designed to answer the following questions:

  • What collections are in my repository?

  • What is the total extent of my repository’s holdings?

  • Which collections have restrictions?

  • Which collections are published or not published?

  • What languages are represented in my repository’s archival holdings?

Formatting

  • Enumeration identifiers should be translated to their corresponding enumeration values for the fields listed below.

    • resource.level_id

    • resource.resource_type_id

    • resource.language_id

    • date.era_id

    • date.calendar_id

    • extent.portion_id

    • extent.extent_type_id

  • Binary numbers should be translated to Yes and No for 1 and 0 for the fields listed below.

    • resource.public

    • resource.restrictions

  • Brackets, quotation marks, commas, and null values should be removed from the fields listed below. Instead, subfields should be separated by hyphens, e.g. ABC123-DEF456-GHI789-JKL123.

    • resource.identifier
